Dani "supernova9" Stern Wins $130.6k at PLO
Dani "supernova9" Stern was yesterday's biggest nosebleeds winner at PokerStars after making a $130,576 profit from just 142 hands played early yesterday evening at the $100/$200 and $200/$400 PLO tables.
Stern's biggest win of $86.2k came from an hour long heads-up session against Dutch pro Ravenswood13 at the $100/$200 tables. Stern won several decent five-figure pots during the 103 hand session, see below for the biggest:
Ravenswood13 takes a stab at the river to try to steal this pot, but with a turned top full house supernova9 is going nowehere and he snaps off this $54.2k pot
The remainder of Stern's profit from yesterday came from a 36 minute showing at a $200/$400 match which was running alongside his $100/$200 heads-up match. Also at the table at the time were St1ckman, Aron0621, tjbentham, and Ravenswood13. Stern won his biggest pot of the day during this 39 hand session:
supernova9 flop well with his double suited semi-connected hand making trips with a flush draw. He is well ahead of St1ckman's Kings when the money goes in and he ends up making a full house on the first run and a flush on the second to take this $76.6k pot
Sean "Nolez7" Winter was the next biggest winner yesterday as he ended the day up $89.1k after 4hr 40m at the PLO tables yesterday afternoon. His profit can be traced to a +$100k hour long tea-time heads-up session at the $100/$200 tables. Once again Ravenswood13 was on the receiving end.
Once again it was PLO which provided yesterday's third biggest winner in Grazvis1 who played both $100/$200 and $200/$400 late yesterday afternoon/early evening to end up with an $87.7k profit from 364 hands played. Rounding off the top for was OtB_RedBaron who earned $30.8k at the $50/$100 NLHE tables.
