Ongame Poker Network - March 2024
The Ongame network is the second largest online poker network with over twenty poker rooms operating as skins of this ever popular network. Ongame is host to numerous big sports betting brands including Betfair, bwin, Coral, Eurobet, and Betsson.
With a large contingent of its skins primarily sports betting brands the player migration from sports betting to the poker site inevitably means there is relatively soft competition at Ongame so could be a wise choice for a solid poker player looking to clean up.

Ongame traffic and history
Although not as high as it has been Ongame still boast an average of 2,000 cash game players online at any one time with daily peaks of around 4,000 - more than enough to find the game of your choice at any given time.
Ongame have been providing online services since 1999 and online poker since 2004 and as the worlds largest B2B online poker provider have years of experience in providing a quality experience for their customers.
Ongame Bonuses
Sign up bonuses on the Ongame network depend on the poker room you choose and are released in the by earning player points. Earning player points on an ongoing basis also contribute to the Ongame networks cashback programs which reward players for loyalty based on points accumulated during gameplay. On average 3.6 points are earned per $1 raked. The best ongame bonus available will release at $1/8 points which translates to about 50% rakeback. Combined with races and ongame cashback this is a great reward rate for new players.
Ongame Rakeback
Due to Ongame's network rules, there is no traditional rakeback available as such for any poker rooms associated with the network. Instead this has been replaced with generous bonuses and cashback programs. One issue which for some has caused a little contention but for others is seen as Ongame promoting a fairer poker playing environment is Ongames "essence" reward system which attributes points based on numerous factors including win-rate, contributed rake and style of play. The model looks to reward recreational (read losing) players who receive a higher proportion of the rake which leads to more player points and rewards than winning players. The idea is to maintain a balance in the poker "ecology" by keeping the less able players incentivised to play. While this may even up the balance this system does have its detractors who claim that such a system discriminates against high volume winning players who are effectively being penalised rather than rewarded for their loyalty.
Ongame game variants and stakes
Cash games run from micro stakes ($0.02/$0.04) up to high stakes (although a reasonable amount of $5/$10 - $10/$20 there is little above this) and feature the usual variants including NLHE, LHE, PLO, PLO8 and Stud. There are also a lot of tournaments, both sit and go and scheduled in both NLHE and PLO.
Ongame Software Options
The software at Ongame is both mac and pc compatible, they also have an "in browser" option for those who don't have the time or inclination to download the client. Ongame also offer a mobile version of their poker software for those on the move who want to play real money games on their smartphones.
